Health Program Section Planning and monitoring of health programs in the ministry and follow up of health e activates in the governorates that includes (programs/ campaigns/exhibitions/global and local occasions) : Health education activates are held in different health centers and communities,the health education held in health subjects related to women and child health, healthy lifestyle, chronic diseases and seasonal disease and other different subjects depending upon the local and global health occasions, there are different methods used for health education depending upon the gender (interviews, group discussion, brochures, lectures, exhibitions, campaigns, role play…etc), these activates are documented in a formal electronic file which was updated in 2008, The department activating the global health days under central level in addition of different activates which are held in the governorates such as exhibitions, campaigns production of IEC materials and broadcasting of health programs in the television, radios and magazine ,the section follow up of these activates through annual reports and through Field supervisory visits to these areas, developing the skills of workers in the field of health education This section is also responsible for the rehabilitation and development of health workers in the field of health education by holding training sessions and workshops in various fields such as communication skills and the implementation of programs and media campaigns and training on modern methods of communication and a private approach COMBI,planning health programs and projects in collaboration with government and private sectors and Follow up the five-year plan indicators. IEC Production Section The most important tasks carried out by the department to implement and spread awareness through various media: The development of an annual plan for the program include all programs and health priorities, issues and events local and global health, provide Guests for health programs in television, radio and newspapers across the communications to all programs and health institutions and relevant sectors covered in the plan, preparing radio and television episodes, follow up the implementation of the programs as planned,provide media coverage during all occasion's local and global health and broadcast flashes of visual and auditory awareness of key health topics, also Health information programs it is : special health programs ,media spaces allocated to health and clips showing flashes and awareness in the end Production of health education materials the department follows specific policy while producing health educational materials. this policy consist of 20 steps that has to be followed properly in order to get correct and useful educational materials .
