North Sharqia Governorate
Directorate General of Health services North Sharqia government covers the health care for all citizens and residents by providing comprehensive administration and supervising to health services in the governorate of all technical and administrative aspects, through departments in addition on community health services of six walaytes ( Ibra – Al Mudaybi- Bidiyah – Al Qabil- Dema Wa At Taiyin- Wadi Bani Khalid and Sinaw ). In addition to the role of the Directorate headquarters in overseeing the implementation of Ministry of Health policies, strategies and supervision as well as on the operational activities of the various health programs, carries out activities to support resource management (Human - Finance - equipment - medicines and medical supplies).

Focused on ministry strategic plans in order to deliver the health services, it is important to implement primary health care facilities and quality assurance, in order to prevent, treat and supervision. Therefore the five years strategic plan is implemented through several health programs at level of primary Health Care, such as children and women, health education, school health, ENT, Vaccination, elderly, dental, Nutrition, etc. However this achieved by follow-up health institutions and private sector also provides the availability basic diagnostic services like laboratory, x-ray, end up with medicines and medical supplies to health institutions, and monitors the performance of medical staff and medical assistance.

Section is working as follows: - -Evaluation and follow-up of private health institutions according to standards. -To provide lectures and a workshop for doctors and nurses. -The participation of all health institutions for the programs offered by the ministry. -Training of technical and administrative personnel on the Laws and legislation relating to private health institutions in the governorate.
