The expansion included the cardiac catheterization unit, intensive care for heart diseases, intensive care for newborns, intensive care for adults, endoscopy and day care units, adding operating rooms, and expanding the emergency department (first phase) and clinics. The expansion also included the radiology department with the addition of a unit for magnetic resonance imaging, bone density, and CT scans for emergency cases, inpatient departments, and an integrated center for research and training. The expansion project includes adding 8 beds to the internal ward (men and women), 14 beds to the maternity ward, 32 beds to the surgical ward for men, 6 Beds for the stroke ward, two beds for the cardiac intensive care unit, 20 beds for the post-catheterization care department, 8 beds for the adult intensive care unit, 4 beds for the pediatric intensive care unit, and 11 beds for the neonatal intensive care unit. The expansion project included the establishment of an integrated center for training and studies, and an increase in the number of beds in specialized units such as the emergency department, maternity hall, gynecology emergency, day care, dialysis unit, endoscopy and pain control, operating and recovery rooms, with a total increase of 67 beds. In the new expansion, 18 doctors’ rooms and 3 nursing and treatment rooms were added in the surgery and heart clinic, 9 doctors’ rooms in the gynecology clinic, 6 doctors’ rooms and nursing and treatment rooms for the internal medicine clinic, 3 doctors’ rooms and an endoscopy room in the ear, nose and throat clinic, while the children’s clinic included 8 Rooms for doctors and two rooms for nursing and treatment. The eye clinic included 6 rooms for doctors, two rooms for vision examination, and a room for treatment. The kidney clinic included 4 rooms for doctors and rooms for nursing and treatment.
