Under the patronage of Dr. Zakia bint Qahtan Al Busaidi, Senior Consultant in Family Medicine and Mental Health, the Children's Day event was held on 2 January 2026 at Barka Public Park. The event was organized by the Pediatric Units of Rustaq Hospital, with the participation of the Royal Oman Police and the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority.

The event featured an educational exhibition, a recognition ceremony for participants, an interactive stage program, and children's competitions, all in an enjoyable atmosphere aimed at promoting health awareness and bringing joy to children and their families.
