The Directorate of Health Planning and Organization at South Al Batinah Health organized the “Integrated Institutional Healthcare System” Forum under the theme: “Towards a Deeper Understanding of Institutional Roles and Integrated Efforts to Create Sustainable Health Impact.”

The forum was held under the patronage of Dr. Nasser bin Abdullah Al Shukaili, Director General of Health Services in South Al Batinah, at the Social Care Home, with wide participation from directors of departments, heads of sections, and representatives of healthcare institutions across the governorate. The event aimed to strengthen institutional integration and unify efforts towards a more efficient and sustainable healthcare system.

The organization of the forum reflects the importance of developing a shared understanding of institutional roles and responsibilities, enhancing coordination among various healthcare sectors, and aligning efforts with strategic directions and institutional development priorities. It also contributes to improving performance quality and achieving the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

The forum aimed to establish a comprehensive institutional platform through which departments and sections could present their roles, responsibilities, efforts, achievements, and challenges, fostering knowledge and experience exchange while strengthening a culture of partnership and integration among the different components of the healthcare system.

The forum featured a series of specialized presentations addressing various themes. The papers highlighted the scale of institutional efforts across different sectors and emphasized the importance of integrating roles to achieve a comprehensive and sustainable health impact.

The discussions and remarks accompanying the forum emphasized that institutional integration is no longer an option but a strategic necessity for enhancing healthcare service quality, improving resource efficiency, and achieving a more effective response to challenges and changes.

At the conclusion of the forum, participants stressed the importance of building on the outcomes of the gathering and transforming shared knowledge into practical partnerships and development plans that enhance institutional performance, prioritize serving people, and reinforce a more integrated and sustainable healthcare system.
