Annual Meeting of the Disease Control Department to Enhance Health Performance
The Department of Disease Control and Prevention held its annual meeting with the Public Health Units in South Al Batinah Governorate, as part of efforts to enhance integration and review the performance of the past year.
The meeting reviewed the department’s annual report, highlighting key achievements and implemented activities, analyzing performance indicators and assessing the level of objective achievement. It also discussed major challenges and ways to improve performance and enhance the quality of healthcare services provided to the community.
In addition, the meeting addressed the current year’s action plan, emphasizing the priorities for the upcoming phase and strengthening preparedness in epidemiological and vector surveillance, rapid response, as well as prevention and health awareness programs.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Public Health Units were honored in recognition of their outstanding efforts and significant contributions over the past year, reaffirming the importance of teamwork and professional commitment in improving public health indicators in the governorate.
