The Communicable Diseases Control Department, represented by the Expanded Programme on Immunization, organized a forum with the program focal points to discuss challenges, develop plans for the upcoming year, and activate the Oman Immunization Week and the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) prevention campaign.

The forum also featured the recognition of healthcare institutions and outstanding initiatives, where Al Masnaah Health Complex won first place for its “Smart Anemia Clinic” initiative. Barka Health Center received second place for its “Lean Initiative” to reduce waiting time at the immunization clinic, while Wadi Bani Kharous Hospital came in third for its “Child Health Diary” initiative, in support of sustaining initiatives and achieving the desired objectives.
