**The Second "Tawasul" Forum Discusses the Development of Healthcare Services and the Workplace Environment in Musandam Governorate**

The Directorate General of Health Services in Musandam Governorate organized the second edition of the **"Tawasul" Forum** to strengthen communication between healthcare professionals and the local community and enhance the quality of healthcare services. The forum was attended by **Ali bin Abdullah Al Shihi**, Director General of Health Services in Musandam Governorate, together with physicians, healthcare specialists, department heads, and members of the local community.

The forum provided a platform to discuss challenges, gather suggestions and feedback, and explore opportunities to improve healthcare services, institutional performance, and future health initiatives.

Ali bin Abdullah Al Shihi emphasized that the forum reflects the Directorate's commitment to promoting effective communication and community partnership as key drivers for improving healthcare services. He noted that the recommendations and ideas presented by participants will support future healthcare programs and initiatives.

Discussions focused on several priority areas, including enhancing specialist medical services, supporting the development of the new Bukha Hospital, improving communication with patients through digital channels, strengthening occupational health services, and introducing community-based initiatives such as home ambulance services and mobile health clinics.

The forum concluded with recommendations to expand digital communication with patients, accelerate the implementation of the new Bukha Hospital project while ensuring the inclusion of essential specialties, strengthen support for healthcare professionals, enhance public health awareness, improve healthcare services for remote communities and older adults, facilitate blood donation coordination between Khasab and Bukha hospitals, and expedite the issuance of health insurance cards for healthcare workers.

The **"Tawasul" Forum** is one of Musandam Health's key initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable communication and partnership between healthcare institutions and the community while supporting the continuous improvement of healthcare services across the governorate.
