The Disease Surveillance and Control Department, in collaboration with the Epidemiological Surveillance Department at the Disease Control and Prevention Center, organized a regional training workshop aimed at introducing the indicator-based epidemiological surveillance system.

The two-day workshop brought together a group of doctors and nursing staff working in public and private health institutions in Al-Dhahirah Governorate.

The workshop included a combination of theoretical and practical sessions to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the system and its mechanisms for enhancing epidemiological surveillance and improving the efficiency of disease monitoring and response.

This workshop is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the health system and build capacity in epidemiological surveillance to ensure a rapid and effective response to communicable diseases.
