The Directorate General of Health Services in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate celebrated the activation of World Innovation Day through a distinguished event aimed at promoting a culture of institutional innovation and fostering a work environment that supports creative ideas in the healthcare sector. The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al Mandhari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Planning and Health Regulation.

The event highlighted the importance of innovation as a key driver for developing healthcare services and improving the quality of care provided to the community. Its themes focused on mechanisms to enhance innovation, empower national talents to adopt creative initiatives, and transform them into practical, implementable projects that contribute to improving institutional performance.

The event featured several interactive sessions addressing ways to support innovators and promote creative thinking within healthcare work environments, in addition to showcasing best practices that contribute to building a sustainable innovation ecosystem within healthcare institutions.

A mini innovation exhibition was also organized alongside the event, with participation from several employees of the Directorate General of Health Services in Al Dakhiliyah. The exhibition presented a range of innovative ideas and projects that reflect the high level of awareness and creative capabilities of healthcare professionals, highlighting their efforts in developing practical solutions to improve healthcare services.

Dr. Ali bin Abdullah Al Maqbali, Director General of Health Services in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, emphasized the Directorate’s commitment to continuing support for innovative initiatives and providing an enabling environment that allows employees to excel and innovate, in line with national directions toward strengthening innovation and achieving institutional excellence in the healthcare sector.
