Ministry of Health Promotes Digital Accessibility through Inclusive E-Service Testing
With the aim of promoting digital accessibility, the Directorate General of Information Technology and Digital Health conducted on Monday, 20 April 2026 a manual testing for its e-services through eHealth Portal. The initiative targeted visually impaired persons (blind users) from the Ministry's employees and participants from outside the Ministry.
The initiative aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of digital accessibility in a practical way that reflects the real needs of users. It also focused on improving user experience, service pathways and digital content to ensure ease of access and usability for all segments of society.
This step highlights Ministry of Health’s leadership in adopting quality initiatives that support digital inclusion and its commitment to making services accessible to all people regardless of their abilities.
This initiative is part of Ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen digital accessibility standards, particularly for people with disabilities and elderly persons, contributing to improved efficiency of e-services and ensuring alignment with the National Digital Accessibility Policy issued by the MTCIT.
