The Directorate General of Health Services Celebrates World Patient Safety Day
The Directorate General of Health Services in Musandam Governorate celebrated the World Patient Safety Day, which falls on September 17 of each year. This year's annual event dedicated "Improving Diagnosis for Patient Safety" to emphasize the great importance of improving diagnostic and preventive procedures based on the highest standards of quality of health care.
The events included health exhibitions in various health institutions affiliated with the Directorate, to spread awareness of the importance of correct diagnosis, in addition to visual presentations and embodying the pivotal role of patient safety services in the health system.
The events also included visits to some of the governorate's schools to enhance the concept of patient safety, in addition to some publications on social media and lighting various buildings in the governorate in orange as a symbol of commitment to improving diagnosis.
