Launch of the Population Health Needs Assessment Project in Wadi Al Maawil

Under the patronage of Sheikh Hassan bin Mohammed Al Zarafi, Deputy Wali of Wadi Al Maawil, and in the presence of Dr. Nasser bin Abdullah Al Shukaili, Director General of South Al Batinah Health Services, the Directorate General of Health Services in South Al Batinah, in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) and in collaboration with the Wadi Al Maawil Health Committee and the local community, officially launched the Population Health Needs Assessment Project in Wadi Al Maawil.

The project aims to strengthen evidence-based health planning by assessing the actual health needs of the population and analyzing the factors that influence their health. The findings will support the identification of health priorities, guide the efficient allocation of resources, improve the quality of healthcare services, and enhance community partnership in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
