The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Health (MOH), the Directorate General of Specialized Medical Care, Respiratory Care Department, celebrates Respiratory Care Week, which falls on the last week of October of each year at Crowne Plaza Hotel.

The celebration came this year under the theme: "Excellent Skills…Exceptional Care".

The celebration was held under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Fatma bint Moahmmed Al-Ajmi, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial & Planning Affairs.

Around (70) health workers from various specializations and respiratory therapist specialists participated in the celebration. In addition, a number of international experts from the Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and India delivered lectures during the event.

The event aimed to exchange medical and scientific information among participants, as well as to benefit from the participating experts.   

The 7^th Respiratory Care Week touched upon the achievement of respiratory care services in Oman, Saudi Arabia, India, and Yemen.
