H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saif Al-Hosni, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health for Health Affairs presided today (Tuesday) at the Park Inn Hotel a meeting to discuss the content of the Ministerial Decision No. 41/ 2018 of the Health Committees in the presence of the Directors General in the Governorates along with a number of senior officials in the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Al-Hosni stressed on the importance of the healthcare programs and community initiatives in raising the level of awareness and healthcare provided by the Ministry. He added that the health services have witnessed a remarkable progress at all levels.

Dr. Said Al-Lamki, MOH Director General of Primary Healthcare pointed out that this meeting came to activate the Ministerial Decision and strategic steps to participate with the other different sectors and community members to combat the health problems.

Dr. Huda Al-Siabiyah reviewed the methodology and mechanism of the health committees and the response of the international community in achieving health for all. She also pointed out to the general goals of the Sectoral cooperation such as improving the quality of life, achieving the sustainable social and economic development through the effective participation of civil communities, coordinating with the other sectors and enhancing the healthy lifestyle.
