As part of his program to visit health institutions in Dhofar Governorate, H.E. Dr. Said Harib Al-Lamki, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health (MOH) for Health Affairs, visited today (Monday) Thumrait and Maqshan Health Centers.
His Excellency began his visit at Thumrait Health Center, which the Ministry has prepared to upgrade from a health center to a hospital providing primary and secondary healthcare services to the residents of Thumrait. He ensured the readiness of the center to provide emergency services, maternity and childbirth services, inpatient care, and various clinics (ophthalmology, ENT, internal medicine).
The MOH Undersecretary for Health Affairs discussed with the concerned parties the final preparations for converting the center into a hospital, including the necessary buildings, manpower, equipment, medical supplies, and support services.
His visit also included Maqshan Health Center, where he met with the center's officials and listened to a detailed explanation of its operations. He also heard their proposals and opinions for enhancing and improving the services provided at the center, urging them to exert their utmost efforts to overcome obstacles and facilitate the provision of healthcare services to patients with the highest standards of quality.
