The meetings of the Arab Board of Health Specializations (ABHS) concluded on Sunday at Jordan by holding an extraordinary meeting of the Supreme Council. 

The meeting was presided over by H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health and President of the ABHS Supreme Council with the participation of H.E. Professor Omar bin Awadh Al-Rawas, ABHS Secretary-General along with the members of the ABHS Supreme Council.

The liability of ABHS to the Council of Arab Health Ministers was confirmed during the meeting and that it is subject to its administrative and financial control, according to the decision of the Council of Arab Health Ministers at its 55th ordinary session. Moreover, the meeting approved the basic system and internal regulations of the ABHS.

The meeting highlighted the support of the Arab Health Ministers to the ABHS services by boosting scientific development and enhancing the health competencies in the Arab countries.      

States of the Maghreb participations in the ABHS activities was further promoted to strengthen the involvement of all member states.
