As part of the Health Endowment Foundation’s (ATHAR) efforts to enhance governance, achieve its developmental objectives in partnership with the community and various relevant entities, and ensure the efficient implementation of its health endowment projects, H.E. Dr. Hilal bin Ali bin Hilal Al-Sabti, Minister of Health and Chairman of the Athar’s Board of Directors, chaired today (Sunday) the first meeting of ATHAR’s Board of Directors for this year at the Ministry of Health’s headquarters.
The meeting was attended by the board members and the Foundation’s executive management.
The meeting covered key agenda items, including the approval of last year’s third Board meeting minutes, reviewing the implementation of previous recommendations, and discussing the Foundation’s 2025 financial performance. Members also approved the 2026 financial endowment report plan, considered Investment Committee recommendations, and endorsed proposed projects and fund optimization initiatives.
Furthermore, the Board reviewed and approved the organizational structure, revisited operational procedures, proposed updating the executive regulations, and discussed the plan to hold Health Waqf Week from February 22 to 26, along with other emerging matters.
