Within the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to address the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the technical committee designated to follow-up this epidemic convened a meeting to review the global and local epidemiological situation.

Based on the current developments, the committee recommended suspending or postponed all international events and conferences in the Sultanate that host participants from outside the Sultanate, regardless of the participating countries or the number of participants until further notice. 

 
Accordingly, the committee will continue assessing the situation and the global and local updates in the future along with reviewing the recommendations relating to the disease.
