The Directorate General of Health Services of Muscat Governorate (DGHS-MG), represented by the Quality Management & Patients Safety Department organized today (Thursday) a workshop for the senior management to discuss the achievements and challenges faced by the health institutions affiliated to the Directorate during 2018 at the Traffic Safety Institute in Al-Seeb.

The workshop held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saif Al-Hosni, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health for Health Affairs and in the presence of Dr. Fatima bint Mohammed Al-Ajmi, DGHS-MG Director-General with the participation of about (80) directors and heads of departments and officials of the health institutions affiliated to the Directorate.

The workshop aimed to discuss the difficulties, obstacles and challenges that embed the work progress in all health institutions affiliated to the Directorate, developing effective solutions that ensure the success of the work, as well as exchange experiences between the participants.

Several debates about the difficulties impeding the work progress took place between the participants. Al-Hosni praised the great efforts that are made by the officials and staff of the Directorate towards improving the health services provided to the community members.

The workshop resulted in good outcomes that will contribute to raising the performance level of service in the health institutions at Muscat Governorate.
