Within the continuing efforts exerted by the Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Directorate General of Health services of Dhofar Governorate (DGHS-Dhofar), the services of the Sultan Qaboos Hospital (SQH) including the accidents and emergency for adults & children, outpatients clinics, gynecology & childbirth (critical cases & childbirth) and heart clinic have resumed today (Monday).  

In addition, the patients admitted at the Armed Forces Hospital in Salalah and Heart Center started to be moved back to the SQH.

On the other hand, after announcing the end of the direct effect of tropical storm "Luban" over the Governorates of Dhofar and Al-Wusat, the DGHS- Dhofar is intensifying its efforts to re-back the work as soon as possible in the health institutions in the Wilayats affected by the tropical condition including Rakhiot, Dhalkot and Sadah with continuing to provide the health services in the well-known shelters centers.

The main Committee of the Health Accidents & Emergency Management in Dhofar will continue to be active around-the-clock in order to fully provide the health services in the Governorate. Furthermore, the MOH Emergency Management Center and Contact Center have returned to their regular working hours.
