The Ministry of Health (MOH) signed today (Monday) an agreement with the Petroleum Development Oman and CC Energy Development to fundthe construction of Renal Dialysis Unit in Adam at Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate.
His Excellency Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Ajmi, Undersecretary of Health for Administration, Planning, and Financial Affairs signed the agreement on behalf of the MOH. PDO was represented by its External Affairs and Communication Manager Eng. Mohammed Ahmed Al Ghareebi, and on behalf of CC Energy Bader Al Sariri, Head of ICV & External Affairs.
H.E. Dr. Al-Ajmi stressed the importance of cooperation between the private and public sector to achieve the public interest’s needs, praising meanwhile PDO and CCED initiative to spearhead Corporate Social Responsibility in the country and dedicating special attention to the health sector.
The agreement is part of the two companies’ keenness to strengthen their social responsibility in delivering meaningful improvements and creating sustainable benefits to the local communities as well as broader Omani society.
It should be noted that the project will serve the increasing demand of renal dialysis service in both Ad Dakhiliyah and Al Wusta Governorates.
