On behalf of the Sultanates Government, H.E. Dr. Ahmad Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health signed today (Monday) with representatives of the companies  2  Consultancy Works Agreements  for the Projects of Madha Hospital and the expansions of Haima Hospital.

H.E. Dr. Al Saidi stated that the new health projects will boost the efficiency of Madha Health Center into a local hospital with a capacity of 26 beds and 8 clinics; three of internal medicine, 2 for Pediatric, another for Gynecology and Obstetrics, and Dental Clinic. The hospital will include Emergencies & Accidents department, Delivery Unit, operation theatre, Radiology and Laboratories, and a number of medical units such as day clinic, Cardiac and Dialysis Units. It will also include Pediatric, Male, and Female Wards in addition to Administrative offices and Public Services.   

The expansion project of Haima Hospital as stated by H.E. Dr. Al Saidi will be boosted to accommodate 54 beds as it will include Pediatric Ward, Male Surgical Ward, Female Surgical Ward, Renal Dialysis Unit, Special Care Baby Unit(SCBU) , CT Scan Room, ICU, Physiotherapy Room, and a Dialysis Unit.

Their Excellences MOH Undersecretaries and a number of the Ministry’s Officials as well as the signed companies’ Officials attended the Signing Ceremony.
