Ejada system for measuring performance, ‘the system for measuring individual performance and institutional proficiency’ was launched today (Sunday) under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health with the presence of Health Undersecretary of Administrative, Financial, and Planning Affairs, number of Ministry’s senior officials, in addition to the member of the Ejada main team at the MOH headquarters.
The launching ceremony represents a culmination of the efforts exerted by the team of Ejada for measuring performance and its sub-teams and focal points to implement the system in a timely manner despite challenges. Statistics showed a 85% of individual plans are prepared.
The system will contribute to achieving Oman’s Vision 2040, improving the quality of services provided to individuals and institutions in a way that enhances the community’s confidence to the institution in providing high quality health care at all levels.
Ejada system is helping units to complete their annual operational plans, enhancing employee affiliation with the unit, and maintaining competencies. The system is further enhancing the return on investment for human capital. Additionally, Ejada is evaluating the performance of employees, defining their tasks clearly, and establishing harmony between the organization’s plan and the employee's plan. Furthermore, the system enhances the level of transparency in employees’ distribution of tasks as well linking the entitlement of incentives and rewards to the level of productivity. Individual Performance Measurement and Institutional Proficiency System (Ejada) is also facilitating the work of immediate supervisor regarding employee follow-up and performance assessment.
in implementation of the royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik related to raising the efficiency of the state's administrative apparatus, the MOH as from today is rolling out the Individual Performance Measurement and Institutional Proficiency System (Ejada), which is one of the key enablers of Oman Vision 2040.
