The Ministry of Health (MOH) represented by the Directorate General of Specialized Medical Care and in collaboration with the Sultan Qaboos University hospital (SQUH), observed recently the International Day of Persons with Disability under the auspices of H.H. Sayyida Hujaija Jaifer Al Said, President of Disabled Children Association Board at the Grand Millennium hotel. This year’s celebration came under the theme of “a community for all” emphasizing the significance of preparing the community with all its official and private organizations to embrace this specific age category.

The event included an exhibition, which highlighted some achievements of people with disabilities at the professional and academic levels.
