H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health, received in his office yesterday Monday H.E. Wu Volong, appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Sultanate.

The meeting saw an exchange of cordial conversation and discussion of ways of mutual cooperation between the two countries in the field of Health. Moreover, H.E. Dr. Al Saidi was invited to attend a World Health Organization (WHO) meeting on Promoting Global Health, which will be held in the People’s Republic of China next November, along with visiting health institutions.

The meeting further explored the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Sultanate and China in the near future.

Number of Ministry’s senior officials attended the meeting.
