H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health received at his office today (Sunday) a delegation from healthcare and pharmaceutical sector in Czech Republic, currently visiting the Sultanate.

The meeting exchanged cordial talks and discussed ways of promoting cooperation in the field of health. Moreover, it explored investment opportunities in health care, pharmaceuticals, and medical tourism in Oman to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the future.

Furthermore, the epidemiological situation of the COVID-19 and the measures taken by countries to limit its spread were discussed. Meanwhile, H.E the Minister of Health commended the improvement in the current epidemiological situation across the world and Oman, highlighting the decline in the number of infected and hospitalized people, and deaths.

MOH’s Undersecretary for Health Affairs H.E. Dr. Mohammed Saif Al Hosni attended the meeting along with number of Ministry’s senior officials.
