H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health received on Monday in his office Ole Moesby, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Sultanate.

The meeting exchanged cordial conversations and addressed means of promoting bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in the field of health.

Moreover, holding a joint campaign between the Sultanate and Denmark on Obesity next year was discussed during the meeting.

 The Health Minster further affirmed the importance of involving Denmark in the third High-level Meeting on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) that is to be hosted in Oman next year, to draw on its groundbreaking experience in reducing the use of AM.

A number of MOH’s senior officials attended the meeting.
