H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health received in his office today (Monday) H.E. Suliman bin Saleh Al-Dakheel, General Manager of the Gulf Health Council.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged the cordial conversations, reviewed the health issues such as the unified purchase, central drug registration, central registration for medical equipment and concerned firms.

The meeting also touched on the GCC joint programs related to the community health including the non-communicable diseases, child & women health, the implementation of International Health Regulations, the health cities, as well as the general budget of the council during 2017/ 2018.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Dr. Ali bin Talib Al-Hinai, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health for Planning Affairs along with Dr. Said bin Harib Al-Lamki, Director General of Primary Healthcare and member of Executive Board of the Gulf Health Council.
