H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health received in his office at the Ministry’s Headquarters today Tuesday the medical delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) that are visiting the Sultanate currently.

The meeting studied cooperation between the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the ICRC particularly regarding the training of Omani Medical Cadre. Moreover, it reviewed the joint coordination in this field between the Committee and the MOH Center for Emergency & Crisis Management (CECM).

Within the visit program, the ICRC delegation visited Khoula hospital where they were briefed on the hospital’s different specialized services and the Specialized Technical Surgeries.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Rashid Hamad Al Badi, the Ministry’s CECM Director and the Medical & Public Health Response Sector Coordinator.
