H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Saidi, Minister of Health has received today in his office a delegation from Nebraska University College. During the meeting, both sides discussed the bilateral cooperation aspects in the field of cancer-related research and considered the potential training opportunities for the Omani medical cadres.

The meeting joined H.E. Dr. Ali bin Talib al-Hinai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Planning Affairs, H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Saif al-Hosni, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Health Affairs and other officials.

It is worth mentioning that the delegation visit to the Sultanate comes on the occasion of its participation in the 4th Conference organized by the Oman Cancer Association along with the 7th International Muscat Oncology Conference and the 6th Gulf Federation for Cancer Control (GFCC), which are being held on the 11th of September at Grand Hayatt Hotel.
