The Ministry of Health is held today (Sunday) a meeting for the hospitals directors in all the governorates of the Sultanate. The meeting was attended by directors of hospital affairs department, supporting and diagnostic services and representatives from specialized medical centers for Heart diseases, oncology and genetic health.

The meeting, which was being held in Muscat, chaired by Dr. Kadhim bin Ja’far bin Sulaiman, Director Generals of Specialized Medical Care at the Ministry.

It is aimed at reviewing and discussing number of successful programs contributing in improving the medical services provided in the hospitals.

Among the successful programs that have been discussed during the meeting are development of intensive care units, applying the program of managing the operations theaters, capacity increase, applying the program of medical stock management…etc.

The meeting also discussed various issues and suggestions that would develop services in the hospitals.
