The Department of School and University Health, in cooperation with Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Center and the Oman Breast Cancer Society organized today (Thursday) a workshop on breast cancer in the office of Wali Bausher.

Around 80 nurses from the school nursing staff in Muscat Governorate participated in the workshop.

The workshop aimed at acquiring and enhancing the skills of school nursing staff on awareness and health education, and how to conduct self-examination for breast cancer.

The workshop included several topics, such as introducing breast cancer and its symptoms, prevention, early detection, treatment, and practical training on self-examination
