The Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Midwifery Program of the Higher Institute of Health Specializations (HIHS) in cooperation with the Health Committee in the Omani Women Association of Muscat organized today (Thursday) an event highlighted the midwifery program.

The event was held under the patronage of H.H. Sayyida Basma AL Said in the presence of Dr. Manal Al-Zadjali, HIHS Dean along with a number of academics, faculty members, students and specialists working in the hospitals and health institutions. 

The event aimed to highlight the midwifery profession and its essential role in educating pregnant women during pregnancy, antenatal, and post-natal period, as well as promoting the women and child health.
