H.E. Dr. Darweesh bin Saif Al-Muharbi, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health for Administrative & Financial Affairs today launched at the Ministry’s headquarters the E-Phone Directory for the Ministry’s phone numbers, with presence of a number of undersecretaries and senior officials.

Nassir bin Salim Al-Malki, Team Leader of the E-Phone Directory said: “Issuance of this directory is an addition to the electronic services delivered by the Ministry of Health”.

This new E-Phone Directory will contribute to support the administrative process in the Ministry, as it contains a database for communication between the Ministry’s staff. On the other hand, it will provide the communication data to the recipient of health services in the health institutions in different governorates, which will be available in the future in the electronic health portal of the Ministry.

It is worth mentioning that, the E-Phone Directory has passed through several phases; formation of a team work consisting of the Ministry’s staff and its directorates in the governorates, unified e-form containing the basic staff’s data, design the e-phone directory programme by the IT staff in the Directorate General of Information Technology (MOH), training the team members, how to run and update the programme in the future as variables and the readiness of the system.
