The second round of the Leadership for Health Programme started today (Sunday). The programme is organized by World Health Organization (WHO) represented by its Eastern Mediterranean Region Office (EMRO) in partnership with Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and with the collaboration with the Ministry of Health-Oman.

The training Programme will be inaugurated in the evening by H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health, at the Millennium Executive Apartments-Muscat with the attendance of  H.E. Dr Ala Alwan, EMRO Regional Director.

The two-week Programme aims at preparing health services leaders to create practical solutions for the health system challenges that encounter the health development process in the Region countries and confront them.
