H.E. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Health, received in his office yesterday Monday two school students who have been selected by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the Sultanate as part of the World Children’s Day (WCD) celebration.

The two students, namely are Najat Ali Al Balushi from Seeb International School and Sami Khalid Al Siyabi from Azzan bin Qais International School,  asked His Excellency number of questions regarding the professional career in general and the adopted MOH health programs for the health of children in particular.

It is worth to mention that on the 20^th of November, the UNICEF will celebrate the World Children’s Day (WCD) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education as well as the Ministry of Social Development by conducting various activities to highlight the most pressing challenges faced by children. Activities include students interviewing the Ministers, shadowing a number of CEO of large companies or banks in the private sector for a day, as well as children organizing and leading a Walkathon on the day itself.
