With the theme “Think Differently,” the Ministry of Health, represented by the Quality Assurance Center and in cooperation with the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, celebrated World Quality Week, that is observed annually in the second week of November.
The event reflects the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to promote a culture of quality and institutional excellence, encourage innovative ideas, and adopt continuous improvement practices in performance.
The event, took place at the Mercure Hotel, was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, and attended by a number of senior officials, Undersecretaries, and representatives from national entities concerned with quality and continuous improvement.
Activities included presentations of development papers and initiatives, along with discussion sessions titled “Who Leads the Journey of Improvement Between the Patient’s Compass and the Doctor’s Expertise.” A special exhibition was also organized, showcasing distinguished initiatives aimed at enhancing and improving the efficiency of healthcare services.
The event emphasized the importance of innovative and creative thinking in addressing challenges and achieving continuous development. It also highlighted success stories of projects that contributed to improving the quality of healthcare services and increasing beneficiary satisfaction.
The theme “Think Differently” reflects the Ministry’s commitment to innovation in the healthcare sector and reinforces the concept of quality as a lifestyle and daily practice; ultimately fostering a healthy, efficient, and sustainably excellent work environment.
