The Ministry of Health (MOH) and GCC Accreditation Center (GAC) signed today (Tuesday) a cooperation agreement.
The agreement was signed by H.E. Dr. Ahmed Salim Al-Mandhari, MOH Undersecretary for Planning & Health Regulation on behalf of the Ministry and H.E. Eng. Moteb Said Al-Mezani, GAC Director General on behalf of the Center. 
The agreement outlines several items, including the development of working relationships and cooperation to strengthen communication and coordination between the two parties in Oman. The focus of this cooperation will be in the fields of accreditation, health, and safety in health systems. The aim is to ensure harmonization and compatibility in line with international practices, which will result in upgrading quality and safety outcomes to meet international standards.
