The Ministry of Health (MOH) signed a training agreement today (Wednesday) at the Innovation Hall of the Ministry’s headquarters with the National University for Science and Technology.
The agreement allows the Ministry’s healthcare facilities to be used for the training of students from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, as part of efforts to strengthen the partnership between healthcare institutions and academic entities and support applied medical education pathways.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Health by Dr. Ahmed bin Salem Al-Mandhari, MOH Undersecretary for Health Planning and Regulation, and on behalf of the National University for Science and Technology by Dr. Ali bin Saud Al-Baimani, President of the University, in the presence of several officials from both parties.
The agreement aims to enable students to benefit from scientific expertise and clinical training within the Ministry’s healthcare institutions, thereby enhancing their professional competence and preparing them for the workforce. It also supports efforts to develop national healthcare professionals and improve the quality of health services provided to the community through the integration of academic and practical roles.
