H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health patronized today (Wednesday) a signing ceremony of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for social investment projects of the Petroleum Development Oman Company (PDO) with a number of government institutions at Mina Al-Fahal (PDO headquarters).
The signing ceremony also included four agreements between the Ministry of Health (MOH) and PDO.
H.E. Dr. Darweesh bin Saif Al-Maharbi, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative & Financial Affairs signed the agreements on behalf of the Ministry and Raoul Restucci, PDO Managing Director on behalf of the company.
The first agreement stipulated on funding the Ministry to purchase an ambulance for Al-Mishash Health Center with an amount of R.O. 30,000. The second agreement stipulated on funding the Ministry for establishing an admitting neurology ward at Khoula Hospital with an amount of R. O. 250,000.
The third agreement stipulated on funding the Ministry to purchase Echo Cardiograph Machine for Al-Nahda Hospital with an amount of R.O. 27,500, while the fourth agreement stipulated on funding the Ministry to purchase (50) mobile beds for fifty various clinics to be used for physiotherapy and rehabilitation for the elderly and disabled with an amount of R.O. 16,500.
The signing ceremony attended by a number of senior officials from both sides.
