Training the health workers in the primary health care on the Patient Safety Friendly Health Institutions initiative is continuing for the second day through field visits to the health centers in Muscat.

The training course is organized by the Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Directorate General of Quality Assurance Center (DGQAC) in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO).

Around 120 trainees from various MOH directorates and civil and military health sectors in the Sultanate attended the training course.

The training course aimed to qualify the health workers for implementing the patient safety initiative in primary healthcare.
