On the sidelines of the Sultanate of Oman's participation in the 77th World Health Assembly of the World Health Organization in Geneva, H.E. Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health, discussed with his counterpart from the Republic of Djibouti, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Robleh Abdullah, ways to enhance mutual cooperation in the field of primary healthcare between the two countries.
Furthermore, H.E. Dr. Al Sabti met Iran’s Minister of Health and Medical Education, H.E. Bahram Eynollahi to discuss aspects of cooperation and partnership in the healthcare sector between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In his meetings with health officials representing other countries, H.E. Dr. Hilal Al Sabti further met his Malaysian counterpart, H.E. Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad to discuss ways to exchange healthcare expertise and promote health and digital health.
Moreover, Oman signed a memorandum of understanding in the healthcare sector with the People's Republic of China on enhancing mutual cooperation between the two countries and exchanging experiences. His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Salem Al Mandhari, MOH’s Undersecretary of Planning and Health Regulation signed the MOU on behalf of the country.
