The Ministry of Health attains a remarkable achievement on international level by receiving the European Society for Quality Research’s Best Quality Leadership Award 2018 as a recognition of the ministry’s persistent effort to advance the Sultanate health services.

The award recognizes the organizations, companies and public administrations that have demonstrated outstanding leadership by taking innovative and initiative-driven steps to improve and advance the development of quality. The awards program is run by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR), based in Lausanne (Switzerland).

The Best Quality Leadership Award 2018 will be presented to the Oman Health Ministry during an official award ceremony to be held in Las Vegas (USA), on December 10,2018.

It is worth to mention that the Ministry of Health has received the ESQR’s International Diamond Prize for Excellence in Quality 2017, at a ceremony held Vienna, Austria last year. 

The selection process of the wining companies, organizations and public administrations is done based on the results of the ESQR’s polls, consumer opinion research, and market study.
