Based on international reports received by the Ministry of Health this current month regarding Nestlé’s recall of certain infant formula products due to the potential contamination with the toxin cereulide, the Ministry urges citizens and residents not to use any products suspected to be included in this recall and to verify the batch numbers listed in the attached table.

The Ministry also confirms that no illnesses in connection with the products involved have been reported up to the time of issuing this notice, and it recommends the safe disposal of any suspected products. Should any symptoms such as vomiting, nausea, or abdominal pain occur, individuals are advised to seek medical attention immediately at the nearest healthcare facility.

The Ministry of Health further affirms that it has taken all necessary measures, in coordination with the relevant authorities and the concerned company, to ensure the withdrawal of these products from Omani markets and to follow up on the implementation of this action, in order to protect public health and safety.
