Workshop on Simplification & Re-engineering Process
The Digital Initiatives Design & Development Team of the Supervisory Committee of Digital Transformation of the Ministry of Health (MOH) organized today (Wednesday) training workshop on the simplification and re-engineering process at MOH Headquarters.
The training workshop was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Fatma bint Mohammed Al-Ajmi, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative, Financial & Planning Affairs.
Al-Ajmi pointed out that simplifying procedures and automation will be a quantum leap toward facilitating the services. The MOH Undersecretary also said "We have around 50 services this year; we will work hard with the private sector to achieve these services".
The workshop was presented by Eng. Ahmed Al-Salmi, Senior Coach in LEAN Sigma 6, Oman Vision 2040 Follow up & Implementation Unit, with participation of (14) LEAN applicators from the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical Affairs & Drug Control (DGPADC), the Directorate General of Private Health Institutions (DGPHI), as well as Digital Initiatives Design & Development Team.
The participants were trained on capacity building required to simplify and re-engineer procedures in preparation for large-scale simplifications according to the digital transformation plan 2021 – 2025 through reviewing the two simplification plans for the DGPADC and DGPHI, in addition to the project performance indicators and tracking methods by the administration.
