The Directorate General of Human Resources at the Ministry of Health (MOH), represented by the Work Environment Development Section of the Department of Job Performance and Work Environment Development, organized today, Sunday, an awareness exhibition to mark World First Aid Day. The event was held in collaboration with a number of government and private sector institutions at the Ministry’s lobby.

The event was held under the patronage of H.E. Sulaiman bin Nasser Al Haji, MOH Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs, in the presence of medical professionals, experts, and others interested in the field. His Excellency toured the exhibition and was briefed on its various contents.

The event was organized to enhance the readiness of healthcare personnel by promoting a culture of first aid and safety and fostering a safe and healthy work environment. This contributes to providing comprehensive awareness and training content that serves various segments of society, enhances employee satisfaction, and supports the development of the work environment in line with the Ministry’s priorities.

This approach represents a key pillar of the Ministry’s plans to foster a knowledge-driven and practice-oriented work environment, while promoting health awareness and strengthening a culture of safety and first aid, in line with the priorities of Oman Vision 2040.

The event featured training programs, in-depth discussions, and extensive exchanges of insights and expertise. Participants focused on developing sound, evidence-based approaches to raising health awareness and promoting a culture of safety and first aid.
