The Oman College of Health Sciences organized recently an event to celebrate the 48^th National Day under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Ali bin Talib Al Hanai, Ministry of Health’s Undersecretary for Planning Affairs. The event gathered dean of college Dr. Mustafa Fahmi Mohammed, and the faculty members, in addition to the students.

The organization of the event came after the recent establishment of the college under the Royal Decree, No 18/2018 that states establishing Oman College of Health Sciences and a Higher Health Specialisations Institute.

The celebration included several national musical arts performances in addition to stage performances. Moreover, poems in the love of the country were recited.

It should be noted that the Oman College of Health Sciences aims at preparing and qualifying students enrolled both scientifically and occupationally in the health fields, as well as developing health workers knowledge and improving their performance through research. The college further aspires to encourage and develop health research and studies, creating learning-innovation simulative environment, and bonding with the similar universities, institutions in the Sultanate and abroad.
