The Ministry of Health signed today (Tuesday) an agreement with Sohar Islamic Bank and Mohammed Al Barwani Foundation (MBF) to fund the establishment of the interior set-up of the Blood Bank Center at Al Araimi Boulevard, Seeb.  
The agreement was signed by Dr. Badriya Mohsen Al-Rashdi, MOH’s Director General of Health Services and Programs, Abdulwahid Mohammed Al-Murshidi, Chief Islamic Banking Officer, Sohar Islamic, and Iman Mohammed Al-Barwani, the CEO of MB Foundation.
The project aims to enhance the quality of health services of Blood Bank Services Department, currently provided in Bousher, and increase the number of beneficiaries by easing reach for the blood donors living in Wilayat of Seeb and neighboring areas. 
The project features an area of 91 square meters within the mall, which consists of several sections for registering donors, conducting pre-donation medical tests, and check-up, in addition to having a number of six beds for blood donation.
