The Higher Institute of Health Specialties held today (Thursday) the graduation ceremony of (165) Postgraduate Diploma students of nine specialized programs for the academic year 2024 at Oman Convention and Exhibition Center. 
The graduation ceremony was held under the patronage of H.E. Abdullah Salem Al-Harthi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, in the presence of number  Their Excellencies, faculty staff and parents.
The Dean of HIHS Dr. Manal Al-Zadjali, pointed out that the Institute is the first of its kind, if not the only one in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, offering nine different specialized health programs at Postgraduate Diploma level, noting that the total number of graduates has reached (3687) since its inception in 1995. 
She added that the institute also offers Diploma in Sterilization Technology (training with employment), which has been designed to meet the needs of health institutions in various governorates of Oman. 
The graduates speech was delivered by Mahmoud Al-Harasi, Major in Health Services Management, who emphasized the institute's commitment to preparing and qualifying them through its academic and administrative bodies by providing a suitable educational environment, reflected in its highly competitive quality specialized programs. He expressed his appreciation to the institute's organizers and congratulated his fellow graduates on their success and achievements.
Moreover, the ceremony program included a video about the Higher Institute of Health Specialties and a recital of poetry.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the patron of event honored the top students and handed certificates to the graduates. 
It is worth mentioning that the Higher Institute of Health Specialties offers nine academic Postgraduate Diploma programs in Adult Critical Care Nursing, Community Health Nursing Practice, Critical Care Nursing in Pediatric and Neonatology, Emergency Nursing, Health Services Management, Infection Prevention and Control, Mental Health Nursing, Midwifery, and Nephrology Nursing.
